Smartphone brand Vivo is set to launch a new phone under its V series in India. The company will unveil the Vivo V20 in the country on October 13 and has started sending out media invites for the same. As revealed in the invite, Vivo will host an online event to introduce the upcoming phone.
Similar to the other V series phones, Vivo V20 too will be a camera-centric phone. In the image shared with the invite, the company has teased a 44MP selfie camera that the Vivo V20 will offer.
Earlier this month, Vivo confirmed the Android 11 operating system for Vivo V20. The smartphone is also being teased on Flipkart, hinting at the phone’s availability via the e-tailer’s site. Vivo has also released full specs and features of the phone on its website. As revealed by the company, Vivo V20 will offer a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display.
The handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will be equipped with a triple-lens camera setup with 64MP primary sensor along with f/1.89 aperture paired with two secondary sensors of 8MP and 2MP each.
The smartphone is likely to be backed by a 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charging along with regular connectivity options. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor and the device weighs 171 grams. It’s a dual SIM phone and will be offered in three colour options — Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz and Moonlight Sonata. .
